Capsule — Bronte Baths

02/14/2020

The first time I ever visited an ocean beach, I made a promise to myself that I would never live too far from one again (on my own accord of course). There really isn’t anything like a morning swim, salty skin, and drying off under the sun. Only a short walk from me, the Bronte Baths were my go-to spot. Rain or shine – I was there.

The walk to the baths was almost better than the destination. Bondi to Coogee coastal walk catches a lot of flak because it’s a tourist hot spot. That being said, it’s a hot spot for a reason. It’s all about beating the crowds and braving the morning weather. I live for a good podcast and those views.

Without fail, I always found myself looping up through the Waverley cemetery to stop in at Eugene’s for one of their many salad’s, an americano, and a chocolate sea salt cookie. My most frequented spot to this date.
